National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI):-
National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is an organization for retail payments system of India. This was started with the guidance and support of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Indian Bank’s Association (IBA)
NPCI was incorporated in Dec 2008, NPCI has ten promoter banks such as State bank of India, Punjab Natioanl Bank, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Citibank, and HSBC.

BHIM – Bharat Interface for Money:-
BHIM is a mobile application (app) that allow to make simple and easy and quick payment transactions using unified payment interface (UPI), It allows to make instant bank-to-bank payments and pay and collect money using just mobile number or virtual payment address (VPA)
This app can be used in 8 languages such us Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Malayalam, Oriya, Gujarati, Kannada ,Hindi
BHIM APP is available in play store (for android User) and App Store (for Apple User)
HOW TO USE BHIM APP:
First Time User:
Step i: Download and Install BHIM app from Google Play store/Apple App Store.
Step ii: Select your preferred language.
Step iii: Select SIM card which has the mobile number registered with your respective bank.
Step iv: Set the application passcode required to enter the app.
Step v: Link your bank accounts using bank account option.
Step vi: Set your UPI PIN by providing last 6 digits of debit card and expiry date of debit card.
Step vii (this is optional): Create another virtual payment address (VPA) in the profile section. Automatically mobilenumber@upi will be your default virtual payment address (VPA) (eg. mobilenumber@upi)
Note: virtual payment address (VPA)s are allowed per user 1. mobilenumber@upi and 2. name@upi)
Step viii: Set one virtual payment address (VPA) as a primary (default) virtual payment address (VPA) (Eg. name@upi can be primary virtual payment address (VPA) making it easy to share with others).
Step ix: Click on send and enter the virtual payment address (VPA)/Account number+ IFSC/Aadhaar number and Scan or Pay option of the person to whom you want to send money.
Step x: Enter the UPI Pin you set earlier to authenticate the transaction.
Step xi: Check transaction history to see the status of the transaction.
